Thilo Raible

Born in 1968 in Horb am Neckar – Germany. Studies of Electrical and Information Technology Engineering at the Technical University in Munich. Afterwards studies of jurisprudence focusing on intellectual property, copyright law and antitrust law at the Ludwig-Maximilians University in Munich. During his studies employment in companies of the electronic, automotive and engineering industry, at the Munich District Court, at the European Patent Office and the Public Prosecutor’s Department (economic crime).

After finishing the legal training, lawyer for intellectual property, copyright law, and antitrust law.
Special interest and qualifications in infringement proceedings as well as out-of-court settlements, particularly licenses, strategies, and rating of intellectual property rights.

Author of scientific papers in the area of industrial property protection regarding the assessment of the inventive step by way of interpreting the evidence given by the fuzzy-logic (Max-Planck-Institute for Intellectual Property) and with respect to the protection of trust in case of changes in intellectual property and copyright law (European Patent Office 1998).

Entitled to represent clients as lawyer  before all German Regional Courts and Higher Regional Courts, the Federal Patent Court as well as the Federal Court of Justice (Patent Nullity Actions), the German Patent and Trademark Office (GPTO), the European Patent Office (EPO), the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) in matters of European Union trademarks and Community designs as well as the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). Moreover he is entitled to represent clients before the Swiss Patent- and Trademark Office (IPI).
